No. Pleat opens ready to use. There's no sign-up, no login, and no password — everything lives on your phone.
Only on your device. Your clothing photos, outfits, wear logs, and trips never leave your phone. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Tap the Add (+) button and either take a photo or import pictures from your library. Pleat cleans up the photo on-device — dropping the background and evening the lighting — so each piece looks catalogue-clean.
Only so you can add pictures of your own clothes. Those images stay on your device and are used solely when you choose to add or capture a photo. You can also explore the app with sample pieces without granting any access.
Open Settings inside Pleat to export a backup of your data, then import it on your new device.
Only if you let it. Pleat asks once whether to allow online features: a weather forecast and reading shop links you paste into your wishlist. You can turn them all off any time in Settings → Online features, and then Pleat makes no network requests at all.
Open Settings → Reminders inside Pleat. Each reminder has its own switch. All of them are created on your phone; nothing is sent from a server.
Open Insights and tap "Your year in clothes". It also appears on the Today screen in December and January once you've logged at least a week of outfits.
Because everything lives on your device, deleting the app removes all of it. You can also clear your data any time from the app's Settings.
Yes — no subscription, no in-app purchases, no ads. Your closet isn't a subscription.
